BellaMare Apartments

The place is so beautiful and tranquil. Security is on part, the pool so clean and enjoyable, the restaurant and their staff is on point. There's also a play area for the kids to enjoy. The apartment was as clean and beautiful as advertised, also has our personal wifi and the speed is amazing. Our host, bless her soul,a very nice lady, responds promptly and even came to our unit to assist. A big thumbs up. Definitely recommend the place.

I had a good lunch but it was made even better by my waiter Letato who was chatty and informative of the menu and made the experience well-worth it.

We booked stayed at Summerstrand Bella Mare self catering apartment, block 7, unit 3 from 24-27 April 2026. The apartment was comfortable. However, there was a constant problem with NO hot water and had to wait hours for the heat pump to be fixed. It was cold during our stay and we were forced to have cold showers. Then on our 2nd night, we had an attempted break-in the apartment while we were asleep around 10:30pm. When my niece who was sleeping on the couch in the lounge opened the door on hearing keys turning in the lock she was shocked to find Two Black women with a bunch of keys attempting every key to get into our apartment. They handed the keys to my niece saying the keys was left on the door when in fact each apartment only has a single key. On calling security and showing the security the bunch of keys, it turned out that the one woman had earlier in the day gotten access to a bunch of keys from the front security house and then tried to get access to our apartment. This experience at a so-called secure complex was a terrifying experience. We will never ever book accommodation at this place again. This also serves as a warning to other travellers to be aware that the place is not safe and that there is an ongoing issue with hot water. These apartments have poor service and is not safe. It was a very disturbing experience. Will never book & Summerstrand Bella Mare apartments again.

Had a great stay at Bella Mare. The place was nice and clean. Close to everything in summerstrand. A big thumbs-up for the safety and security. The only problem I had was with the below average WiFi speed, but nothing too major. I will definitely book here again if I visit PE.

Besides it being the ethical thing to do, it also assists in matching your establishment with the correct consumers. People have the right to know what to expect when booking accommodation. My family is very particular with what we want when booking accommodation and our comfort is of utmost importance and that's what we pay for. These videos are minor flaws, compared to everything else we experienced this past Friday. I don't have thick dust, cobwebs and cockroaches in my house, so why would I settle for this at an apartment I am expected to pay for..?
