Bridgewood Complex - Murrayfield.

This is a very nice place to stay for security and accessibility. However in terms of “living” - you’ll have a few problems. 1) The real estate agents will advertise it as you have a double undercover parking. You will always have just one. They have done it to us, my sister and our friends. 2) You’ll have an area for a built in braai - also advertised as you’ll be able to braai there, however unless you are situated at the top of the columns - you are not. Only gas allowed and weber(don’t actually know if it’s allowed but we did it). 3) There is a communal braai area which includes the swimming pool, if you want to use the braai area for an event - it will cost you R350 for the day and a R200 deposit. This has to be paid only cash to the supervisor. Sometimes it gets written down and signed - sometimes not. Until recently you could only swim by asking for the key from the supervisor- now each house has a tag. 4) Back to parking - think about having friends over, parking is always a problem. 5) Micromanagement from the supervisor. Like I said - the area is very nice and I loved the security and accessibility of the place. Just a few things I wished I knew before moving in there.
