The apartment I stayed was cute and quaint and had a very nice views of the mountains. Its perfect for one person or a couple and also if you there for a fun weekend away or business trip as it's not too far from the beach and the city. Security is very friendly, fun spots to eat and party are within a 5km radius.

This place had a bitter sweet experience for me. I’ve stayed at two different apartments (short stay booking) in a period of two years. The location is very central which makes it very convenient to navigate your way around CPT. Overall , the apartments are beautiful and elegantly furnished . Found the two bedroom apartment to have bigger space and bigger rooms than the bachelor pad. The location of the apartments also gave consideration for potential investment opportunities as it’s also right across CPUT. [FIRST BOOKING EXPERIENCE] First issue, I left two clothing items by mistake. Contacted the managing agent immediately after I left (in less than an hour of exiting the premises) and made arrangements to pick up the items two days after checking out. Essentially, I called before the place was occupied by the next guest meaning there had been limited access to the apartment. Only got one of my clothing items and was told that the other item may have been stolen by a guest ( which doesn’t make sense at all). [SECOND BOOKING EXPERIENCE] Second issue is a matter of cleanliness (more of lack thereof) . This was more of an issue on the second booking. The apartment was dirty and evidently only cleaned on the surface area (The couches had stains, the shower door and bathroom sink and mirrors were dirty , the fridge had not been cleaned). The “cherry on top” was being hosted by a ton of cockroaches!!! I don’t see myself returning again.

Extremely Disappointing and Uncomfortable Stay We recently stayed at Airbnb #206 and, unfortunately, it was a deeply unpleasant experience. The apartment is situated almost at ground level, which became a significant concern due to the high number of homeless individuals in the vicinity. Their constant staring and shouting made us feel extremely unsafe and uncomfortable throughout our stay. Adding to our discomfort, the lack of air conditioning in the flat was a major issue. The interior became unbearably warm, and the situation was exacerbated by the fact that we couldn't even open the windows for ventilation. Doing so was not an option, especially at night, because of the presence of homeless people on the streets, which posed a security concern and made it difficult to sleep. Furthermore, communication with the host was highly unsatisfactory. We received only AI-generated responses, which lacked the personal touch and assistance we needed. This lack of proper communication only added to our frustrations. Overall, our stay at this Airbnb was far from what we expected. The uncomfortable and unsafe environment, combined with poor communication from the host, made it a horrible experience. We do not recommend this place to future travelers. My advice if you booked this Airbnb „New Cool Flat Capetown Zommebloem 26“ Host called Levi on Airbnb and on Messages Winston Backfort.

Great apartment block! Great views of Table mountain and Devils Peak! So close to a few great restaurants, museums, district six, etc!

Stay away from this building/location!!! I was meant to stay here during my holiday in January 26', after the first 5 minutes in location, I tried to cancel the booking with the booking.com platform, the room was 606, managed by the top host property management, to find it impossible to deal with as they "do not control the surroundings". Had to book somewhere else and ended up paying for the both properties. The area is riddled with the homeless people and their camps and all of their lovely activities 24/7. HIGHLY UNSAFE!! Forget about having peaceful morning coffee or evening glass of wine in peace, the noice, the toxic smoke and constant banging of God knows what items, will not end. Please see the videos yourself. There are many more camps around the building, it is pure terror!!!!
