Duncan Court Apartments - Hatfield.

After 5 years of living here I can confirm that this is excellent accommodation for students, and the building is well maintained. RAIN 5G internet works pretty well

Bathroom ventilation is terrible and connected to the neighbours vent. There is security in the front but cars get broken into.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. It has the worst building management. There is always problems, if it’s not the lifts getting a “maintenance inspection” , it’s the thermostat experiencing problems now you have to shower in cold water. No backup generator or the lifts working during a power outage. Imagine this building has so many floors and now you are forced to climb up 11 flights of stairs if you live in the highest floor. The students are always making noise in their rooms or by the corridors. I would not recommend anyone stay here. It’s a beautiful place to live in but terrible experience.

I am currently sitting with no hot water, we were told the pump was going to be switched on 2 days ago. The water bill includes the pump so money is being wasted on a service I'm not even getting. There is no backup water or electricity so when there is no water or electricity you have to fend for yourself, no one helps you and the management does not even care.

Noise, so much noise which is funny because I moved here to find a place to study which is also close to UP. I have a test tomorrow and instead of studying I'm trying to find ways to drown out the noise from people who constantly slam their doors, scream their conversations aloud when walking up and down the hallway. Music is being played so loud. I never asked for much I just want to study for my test tomorrow, I just want to pass and get my degree but according to the people in this building it is too much to ask for. Please do not stay here I always tell people around me to not even visit this place let alone stay here. You will be miserable if you stay here.
