Gross negligence and complete failure of management. We have been left completely without electricity since Monday morning (4+ days) due to a failure in the main line connecting the kiosk meter to our DB board (which is common property responsibility). Instead of taking swift action to fix critical infrastructure, the complex management and caretaker (Vanessa) have dragged their feet, causing unnecessary suffering: • Monday: Protea Metering came out twice, did a lazy reset, and pointed to the DB board. • Tuesday: A plumber inspected the geyser, found zero faults, and tightened a connection. Later that day, our independent electricians spent time diagnosing the issue and confirmed it was the main line between the kiosk and DB. Management was informed immediately. • Wednesday: The body corporate’s & caretakers own appointed electrician spent half the day troubleshooting, only to reach the exact same conclusion: the main feed line from the kiosk to the DB board is faulty. A formal quote was submitted to the body corporate. • Thursday: Instead of approving the repair after TWO independent electricians reached the exact same diagnosis, Vanessa and the body corporate are now insisting on bringing in a third electrician for yet another opinion while we remain in the dark. Leaving residents without power for 4+ days over a line item that has already been diagnosed twice by professionals (independt and their own ) is a complete breach of basic maintenance duties and gross negligence. Absolute incompetence in handling an emergency situation. Avoid living here or dealing with this management, it is a nightmare.

Don't get me wrong.... The place is beautiful but if the ground apartments are all occupied then a wheelchair bound person cannot stay in the complex as there are no lifts to accommodate them.... Except for that it's a lovely place to be....
