Beautiful estate where i visited family that had just moved there. Lovely units
WHAT A TERRIBLE PLACE TO BE. This 600 old people are without water for a week. Featherbrooke always wants money for everything but when there people are in need the literally chase them away from the taps. Frail care patients are lying in there filth and first. My mother toilet can't flash. It's literally full of...... When I called them The reception just told me, Isabella the manager can't do anything for them. This morning a old man was walking around with a bucket trying to get some water somewhere. This is a terrible place to be. Never put your old age mother or father here.....they are not there to help but just to turn away and look after themselves Thank you for hearing our plea and assisting us with some water. We don't want to fight this every time. Thank you for considering us in our old age
The village is clean, homely and quiet. It is safe, and the environment is well looked after. One feels so much safe due to the well controlled security system.
A well-established retirement village in Homes Haven, a suburb of Krugersdorp. Excellent facilities including Frail Care, Dining Room and Bistro, hair salon, beauty salon, library and laundry. Security is excellent, with 24-hour access control, patrols and panic button response from security and nursing sisters. Electric fencing is monitored from the security guardhouse. Lighting at night is good, so feel free to roam the tarred roads in safety, at your convenience. A Home Owners Association and various committees supported by directors, residents, the resident nursing sister and the general manager, ensure the village is well run and maintained and residents are cared for. The social committee arranges regular functions (e.g movie nights, sundowners on the patio, monthly bring and braai) and special occasion dinners, that are thoroughly enjoyed by residents attending the functions. It takes a lot of effort from many parties to keep our village looking top class. That can be seen immediately when entering through the entrance boom. Whether you want to stay in a house or an apartment, cook your own meals or eat in the dining room, Featherbrooke Hills has something for residents with a minimum age of 50.
