Turning into a " Mosselbay" as the Estate are BUSY chopping out the beautiful bluegum trees and Homeowners desperstely pouring their houses into the market to sell and get out...The Bluegum once thought to be a Alien Species NOW CLASSIFIED AS A EXOTIC TREE,JUST LIKE PALMS... HARMLESS,AND LOVED AND WELL KNOWN FOR ITS INCREDIBLE PROPERTIES AS A TREE IN GENERAL..WHY DESTROY THE LOOK OF THE ESTATE ?? THESE TREES ESTIMATED TO BE 400 YEARS OLD. AND ON PUTTING THE QUESTION TO THE ESTATE THE LAMEST ANSWER GIVEN THAT THEY WANT MORE ROAMING GROUND FOR THEIR SPRINGBOK PIE PROJECT??HOW WRONG AND OFFPUTTING

Incredible village on the edge of the nature reserve - best village in hermanus . The review about gum trees is complete rubbish - this estate has and never had gum trees - fernkloof village is 100 % indigenous - Maybe the writer is in the wrong town ???
