Moved in on the 1st of March 2025 and I’ve already experienced 3 power cuts within 8 days of living here (this is over and above the schedule loadshedding)… it’s a beautiful estate but it’s not worth it. Never have I ever experienced such, even in areas where you pay a tenth in rates and taxes😩
Well maintained, lovely estate.
The place is a nice quiet area. Apartments are newly developed. However the amount of power outages in the area are an inconvenience. They occur almost every week for hours on end. So if you are thinking/planning of buying or renting out a unit please get an additional power source you'll use in the time being that can last atleast 20 hours, especially if you are working from home.
📍⛳🏌️💯 Nice golf course, all 18 greens are prestigious, most holes favour golfers who slice/fade😅. Worth a visit and more.
I absolutely love Golden Fields Estate, there’s a reason I’ve called it home for over three years. The security is fantastic (and always friendly), the Estate Manager is hands-on, and the estate as a whole feels safe, well-run, and beautifully maintained. The landscaping is always on point too!
