Visited friends here. Alot of construction is happening at the moment. The complex is heavily guarded with a new technology security system, but the security men were very friendly and could direct us. I absolutely love the massive statue art piece. Inside, the estate is spacious, giving you that authentic countryside feeling with a metropolitan touch—the perfect space for young professionals. I am excited to see how this place will develop once the development is done. Love the fact that you can see the ocean as you drive-in. We could even smell the sea!

Regularly the water, electricty or fibre will be out, on a monthly basis, yet they are quick to send fines from day 1. Had a long battle about astroturf that they didn’t like on my balcony using a clause in the constitution that they can fine anything they don’t think looks nice. Don’t fine certain residents that explicitly break constitution rules, while they target others - it’s a subjective system. Absolutely unacceptable! Even though the geyser is on 24/7, the water goes cold within 15 minutes for one shower and one person per day like clockwork. They utilize Plentify to remotely control all their geysers and have total control over them, not the owners. This device allows an electricty meter to run even though there’s no heating of the geyser happening and no power actually going to the geyser. The HOA has left this unresolved for many months while the geyser itself has been checked 4 times, and the electricty bill remains R2,000 per month. Beautiful estate, very bad experience.

I love it here. Safety is one thing I always look for in a place, the fact that I can leave my apartment unlocked on some nights and go to the mall without locking my door at times that's great. The cherry on top is that on Sundays I get to pick up vegetables from the garden free to everyone. I enjoy the gym and stunning views by the pool side. This is my home away from home. I don't have issues with water & electricity, I sometimes forget to buy electricity but it will not be disconnected instantly, I use up to -20 something units before it gets disconnected, that's a grace period. Securities knows their job, they're strict and friendly to us. The estate agent Audrey, the friendly person ever, always gives good advise! I'm here to stay!

Currently a resident here. If I could give this place a minus 5 star (negative) review, I would. Management is useless. Was considering buying here, but there's absolutely no way. Issues: - LACK of visitor parkings - with hundreds of units in this estate, Definite 5-10 visit bays available here. - Netvendor - these guys are milking residents on electricity charges. Don't be surprised if you leave your unit for a week and come back with electricity depleted. - Gate - always issues. Don't be surprised if you see / wait in long queues at the gate. They have 1 security on duty to man 4 gates. Don't even get me started on the poor facial recognition system. They didn't even bother to try and block the sun on the camera for the entrance gate and residents always have issues scanning their faces. Yes "Laurel". - Kids screaming in the corridors and playing close to vehicles in parking areas. - Pet litter everywhere. - Build quality. The unit I'm renting is from a block that was finished 1 month prior to me moving in. There's always an issue, either a toilet leaking / water pressure low / cupboard hinge not working / oven not working. Balwin obviously cheaped out on the quality here. Thank goodness I decided to rent here instead of buying. I would advise anyone considering to buy here to invest their money elsewhere.
