Imagine paying R9500 including levies and there's no water, loadshedding cable thieving or whatever worst ever
Been living here and it's been hell,we get fined for watering the garden, then get fined cause the grass died cause we didn't water it,now we're being forced to get rid of our family dog, cause apparently she is neglected, despiteher being in great shape, her coat also being healthy, her having two 2L water bowls,a 2L food bowl,a shade shelter, and the yard to roam, none the less sleeping inside during the night where she also has a 2L food, and water bowl. Aside from that we've been living here for going on two years, and the basic repairs have STILL NOT BEEN COMPLETED,that includes the shower, and built in closets of the second room, the garage power has yet to be sorted(almost two years later) More frustrating than the above is the fact that we are being fined for the previous tenant's rubble that they had left behind as well as having to dig through the empty garden bed and remove shards of glass from broken bottles, also left behind. Honestly the most disappointing, and frustrating experience I've had to date.
DO NOT MOVE HERE! If you are looking for a safe environment to live this is definitely not it! People are allowed to enter your yard at any given time without being reported or punished for this kind of behaviour. They are allowed to also take photo of your property without your consent. They report you for everything and anything. I was reported for placing my dog’s food bowl outside as it attracted cats. Than got reported for not having a food bowl visible to the Caretaker who entered my yard without consent. Yes she has two food bowls available inside the apartment, they are both the size of medium paint containers. On a weekend the caretaker attempted to once again enter my yard by trying to remove the lock on the garden gate. They also forced me to pay for yard maintenance cause my grass died during the winter, also got a fine for watering my garden during the winter. I am also forced to get rid of my son medical alert k-9 (he depends on her for his medical condition) because there isn’t a food bowl outside. Also got a fine the day I moved in for having boxes stand by my front door! We haven’t even moved in yet and already got fined! People get reported for having a gym in their own garden. Working late hours at home. When their kids are sick and struggling to sleep at night. Dogs barking during the day. The place is the closest thing to hell you will find.
This is Akari, my special needs son’s medical K-9. After false accusations and zero investigation we had to take her to the Border Collie Rescue centre. We had to watch our son grab onto her back legs screaming, kicking and crying to have his doggy back. The doggy that’s been his only friend for the last 3 years, the doggy that’s saved his life on several occasions, the doggy that played with him everyday and the doggy that always comes when he needed her. Our family ripped apart days before we were suppose move out. No, we weren’t given the option of an intervention by the SPCA or security. We were straight up accused of animal abuse. And even after we said we moving out month end. We were still forced to let her go. A 4 year old sitting without his medical K-9 and his best friend. All because adults can’t be adults.
