I heard from a client that there is no order. Some tenants make so much noise at night and the estate does nothing about it. Someone who loves there has been escalating problems like that for over 6 months and the estate failled to resolve it. I guess it's not family oriented..disappointing for a estate like that. I wish something can be done.

Severe electricity issues. Edited review: since my last review, the power outages have gotten worse, almost weekly. I am seriously reconsidering staying here because of these power outages. Eversince I moved here I have even had to stop working from home because of these power cuts. Very bad situation that it's affecting my work.
As the other 1 star reviews for this estate mine is about the power issues that we have faced for the last 6 weeks. The power will go out at least once a week without fail, and if lucky, only for an hour. As someone that works from home this makes it impossible to reliably work, which is one of the most frustrating experiences I have had. But by far the most frustrating part of this is that there is no plan to address the root cause of this issue. At most we are met with a generic email about investigating the issue with no solution. There was a generator that was installed to help the solar powered lights and WiFi stay on, but this feels as if it was done to ensure that the batteries would not drain due to persistent outages. At times it is the wider area, and other times it is isolated to the estate. I believe that the estate needs to work with the municipality in order to fix this issue at its core. This constant on and off with power damages electronics and spoils food, and can cause a loss of income for those who need to work from home. I would like for generic emails and updates to stop and an actual plan of action be decided on, discussed with tenants, and put into action to bring this to an end.
It’s so unfortunate that I am giving a one star because I’d love to actually give 5 stars, however due to the constant power outages I have never experience so much inconvenience. Especially as a student and someone who works remotely, this is a very unenjoyable experience that I am going through. The power switches off at random times for hours. You never know when you’ll have power or won’t have power which makes it hard for me to work and enjoy living here. It’s very sad because the estate itself is amazing but the power issues are unbearable.
Meander Lifestyle Estate has the potential to be a wonderful place to live, but the ongoing electricity situation has made daily life incredibly frustrating. Residents are subjected to frequent and prolonged power outages, with little to no meaningful communication regarding the cause, timeline for resolution, or long-term plans. Repeated emails requesting updates and feedback often go unanswered, creating the impression that resident concerns are simply not a priority. What makes the situation even more disappointing is the apparent lack of urgency from estate management. While residents struggle with spoiled food, disrupted work schedules, damaged appliances, and concerns about temperature-sensitive medication, there appears to be little accountability or transparent communication from those responsible for managing the estate. A loud generator runs constantly, significantly impacting residents' quality of life. Yet despite the noise, electricity supply remains unreliable. It is difficult to understand why such a disruptive solution has been implemented when residents continue to experience unstable power. Many residents are left wondering whether the generator is primarily servicing ongoing construction rather than ensuring a reliable supply to the people who actually live here. Residents pay substantial rental and levies with the reasonable expectation of basic services, including a consistent electricity supply. At present, Meander Lifestyle Estate is falling far short of that expectation. Houss Estate management need to do better. Residents deserve reliable electricity, transparent communication, timely responses to concerns, and a genuine commitment to resolving issues that materially affect their daily lives. Update: Astonishingly, while I was in the process of posting my previous review about the ongoing electricity issues at Meander Lifestyle Estate, the power went off again. At this point, the situation has moved beyond inconvenience and into complete mismanagement. Residents are expected to tolerate repeated outages, constant generator noise, spoiled food, disrupted workdays, and concerns about medication storage, all while receiving little to no communication from management. The most frustrating aspect is not only the lack of reliable electricity but the apparent lack of urgency in addressing the issue. Emails requesting updates are ignored, residents are left in the dark—quite literally—and there is no meaningful accountability from those responsible for managing the estate. The continuous drone of the generator has become the soundtrack of daily life, yet despite its presence, power failures remain a regular occurrence. Residents deserve to know what is being done, why these outages continue to happen, and when a permanent solution can be expected. It is unacceptable for residents paying significant rental and levy costs to have to wonder whether they will have electricity from one hour to the next. Reliable power is not a luxury; it is a basic service. Meander Lifestyle Estate and Houss need to stop treating this as a minor inconvenience and start treating it as the serious quality-of-life issue it is. Residents deserve better.
