Houss may rightfully get a bad rep sometimes but my experience in this complex so far has been great. Joy (agent) is knowledgable and very helpful. Made the moving in experience amazing. Muziwandile (estate manager) is on the ball. He answers emails timeously and is always willing to help whenever anything goes wrong. The experience is great so far besides dealing with GCT (the elcetricity and utilities vendor) and their policies but all-in-all pleasant.

As a woman living alone at Nexus Lifestyle Apartments, my experience with management has been disappointing. I have found communication from the estate manager to be dismissive, unhelpful, and lacking empathy when residents raise concerns or ask for assistance. Living alone already comes with challenges and tenants should feel supported, respected, and taken seriously when they need help. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience here. The apartments themselves may be fine, but resident experience is shaped heavily by management, and this is an area that seriously needs improvement. The price we pay actually beats the value unfortunately. However, my experience with Celia, the agent, has been the complete opposite… She has been helpful, respectful and empathetic

Thandazani must be the best agent at Houss, Once my application was sent through everything was speedily handled while I sat and didn’t have to lift a finger. From the communication process to being approved, to paying a deposit and signing a lease - everything was straightforward and seamless and he made sure I’m fully answered on any questions I might have. Onboarding surprised me the most, when inspection of my unit happened, I was in awe to find that he has ensured ladies are cleaning up my new unit. Immediately after, I’m onboarded onto the biometrics, utilities system and everything else I need within 10mins. All in all, very happy with my decision to move to Nexus and even happier to have had Thandazani assist me. Great service!
