The view, the vibe. Such a great holiday destination and even very environmentally friendly. A great place to stay in even if it's just for a weekend. You'll have to be a resident or a member though.

A really beautiful and peaceful complex, looking out over a private dam. The complex also has a private pool and its own tennis court. If you are lucky you will see some of the local wild life (deers, rabbits and a wide variety of birds). Definitely worth a visit if you find a unit to rent.
Eco friendly residential apartments in secure estate close to well known beaches.
Stayed at no 34 - what a wonderfull experience! The estate is a huge, pristine jungle with imaculate steep roads. Imagine an amphitheatre of apartments all looking at the sea. ILalas tennis court and swimming/braai area is a very nice retreat for days that are not stellar beach days.
We stayed at Ilala 86. South Gate entrance. Tranquil bush setting with very distant sea view. Abundant bird life and we saw Nyala. Accommodation was neat and tidy. Great gas braai area on wide verandah overlooking the valley. You need to have a car for this estate, unless you like walking up and down steep hills. A double garage is available with a stairway leading directly into the unit. There is a shuttle service, but never used it. Unit is well equipped, however bring your own toilet rolls and dishwasher tabs. Main bedroom with on suite bathroom is a decent size, other 2 bedrooms are very small and have a valley view, the 4th bedroom has 2 single beda and overlooks the parking area at the back. We had 3 power outages during our stay so bring some candles and matches. Remember your biometrics need to be taken at the main gate to enable access to the estate and country club (enjoyed a light lunch, good service and food was excellent) Never got to use the facilities (pool etc) due to amended level 3 lockdown rules.
