The noise never really stops and the owner brushes off complaints.

Shuttle service is great and on-site caretakers are amazing, the residents however are very noisy and bothersome. It has become quite a challenge to live peacefully at times. However, the clubhouse and gym are well arranged, washing machines are available, and the units themselves look quite modern and leave much room for personalisation. What makes Ivy Corner convenient is the fact that it’s situated near virtually all your essential services: doctors, shops, restaurants, etc. They are all within walking distance. The wifi is fast and when faced with challenges regarding connectivity, the wifi company responds timely and takes immediate action. To truly make this a 5-star experience, management needs to hire stronger security and take firmer action to address disruptive residents, especially those who make too much noise and don’t clean up after using public facilities. These steps will ensure that all residents can live peacefully.

Extremely noisy

Affordable, but unfortunately not comfortable. The residents are extremely noisy. Each unit has three separate bedrooms with one shared bathroom, so privacy is already limited. If you’re in the middle room, you can hear conversations through both walls, and loud noise from other rooms becomes very difficult to escape. I’ve also had to deal with loud sexual activity from a roommate, which is extremely uncomfortable when you’re sharing such a small living space. The bathroom situation is particularly disappointing. There are no windows, only a small ventilation fan, which makes dealing with moisture and mould a constant problem. After reporting mould, I was not provided with a cleaning service and was instead told about a mould fee that I could not find in my lease. I ultimately had to clean the mould myself and have had ongoing allergy issues while living here. The rooms also become very dry and uncomfortable at night, and the air quality can feel poor. There are some positives: the rent is relatively affordable, and Wi-Fi and electricity are included. However, the fridge provided for a three-person apartment is far too small, and there is frequently a strong smell of cigarette smoke and weed in the hallways. Overall, this residence prioritises affordability over comfort and quality of living. If you’re considering moving here, please inspect the apartment carefully and ask specifically about mould, ventilation, noise, and additional fees before signing a lease.
