I would like to express my concerns regarding the discrepancies between the advertised conditions and the actual living experience at Jasmine Place. The cost of utilities, particularly water and electricity, is significantly higher than anticipated. Additionally, tenants are required to pay various levies, which result in receiving only a fraction of the value for which we are charged. For example, out of R200 spent on water, only R80 goes towards actual water usage, with the remaining amount allocated to service charges, Syntell, and other levies. It's not secure, you have to guard your clothes while on the line, otherwise if you do not keep an eye, you will find the hanging line empty. Given these circumstances, I find the situation to be financially burdensome and not reflective of the value promised. I would caution others to carefully consider these factors before deciding to reside at Jasmine Place.
