If you’ve ever visited someone inside Meyersdal Eco Estate, those greenbelts and koppies are probably what you remember. You’ll be sitting on a patio and suddenly a couple of buck or guinea fowl wander past like it’s nothing. The estate has that quiet, slightly wild feel, even though you’re basically a few minutes from a busy main road. Walking or jogging along the internal routes, especially late afternoon, is honestly one of the nicest “I forgot I live in Joburg” feelings you can get in Alberton. You hear birds instead of taxis, and you end up taking way more photos of sunsets than you admit to.
