Oak Heights

Not the best place to rent, clothes are stolen from the washing line. This has been happening since the building opened last year. Management is not shaken to do anything about it. There are other reasons why this place doesn't deserve a 1 star rating. We have not had water for 3 weeks. The water bills are a scam. Mold on the sealing. Overall dirty place with no proper management. Incomplete building structure. No back up electricity (don't let them fool you). Management can be very condescending.

Terrible experience. They have a lot of water problems. And they overcharge us for water. In February 2024 we didn’t have water for 10+ days but our water bill was more than R1000 which was absurd because our monthly average with no water breakages was R500. They also gave us problems with returning our deposit back. They gave us less than we paid even though there was nothing wrong with the apartment and we left it in a clean state. They also suck at communication, they don’t reply to our emails. One star is the lowest I can rate otherwise I would’ve rated them -5. The staircases are dirty as well. People leave their rubbish everywhere. They cannot control the noise as well.

By far the worst place I’ve ever came across. I didn’t know when I moved in here that I was willingly putting myself in HELL. Every week there’s something. The place is filthy, there’s always water cuts- and they go for days. Then there’s the electricity issue. Electricity will just go off randomly for days and days. The plumbing is also so terribly done to the point where the shower drain will randomly smell like feaces and the toilet gets blocked very often. There’s barely any communication from the “management” and it’s the most disgusting behaviour I’ve ever seen in my life. But unfortunately they know people need places to stay and they’ll keep taking advantage. If you still decide to go there, just pray and prepare yourself for spiritual warfare because that place is hell on earth.

They have been stalling with my deposit I moved out in December 2025 it’s almost end of March now andSTILL I AM WAITING! Clearly there’s also mismanagement of funds on top of all their dysfunctional ways ! Give me my money oak heights!!!!

Always has a water and electricity problems for days poor security people going and coming as they please no access control design of building is flawed has leakes and flooding through out rooms and parking bay for cars has flooding at ground floor common areas as a result of concrete in drainage system blockages.Car parking not Monitored anyone can come in and do anything safety wise would not recommend no cameras in passages or common areas like the lift also has a mold problem as result of water leaking I now have inflammatory response syndrome in my lungs I complained but nothing was done for a year it’s the oak heights thing also you may find broken bottles at your door after weekends constant construction which means noise throughout and non working lifts dust everywhere please find evidence this is a no go for your health and sanity stay away from oak street as a whole in Randburg
