Some of the best Views in the World

The most scenic road in the world, 9 km long, from Hout Bay to Noordhoek. Chapman's has 114 curves. Chapman's Peak Drive was constructed by hacking out of the mountain's face in the period of 1915 - 1922, and was regarded as a major wonder of engineering. The drive was closed in the 1990s after a death caused by rockfall and subsequently reopened in 2005 as a toll road as a result of re-engineering project to protect motorists from falling rocks being finished. Take note that going beyond safety rails at main viewpoint is extremely dangerous, rather obey safety signs.
