The complex is not secure and there is no sense of urgency by the Managing Agent/Owner to secure the complex follow the increase of BREAK IN at the complex. If any issues are raised, they are addressed for the tenants account. Communal / Security
Unsafe, Noisy, and Poorly Managed – Avoid! Living here has been nothing short of a nightmare. Security is almost nonexistent, with strangers able to enter freely and frequent break-ins reported. Noise levels are unbearable, especially from unsupervised children who treat the complex like a playground at all hours. No Caretaker and management group who doesn't care. Complaints to Harcourts(Rental Agents) are ignored, and basic rules aren’t enforced. Property damage from reckless behavior is becoming worse, yet management does nothing. If you value peace, safety, and responsible property management, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.
Update : They installed cameras 3 weeks after I wrote the below review. Hopefully it's more safe now. Unsafe apartments, no cameras, tenants that suffer criminal acts are told to cry in silence all for the sake of reputation and get threatened lease termination or non renewal of lease (this is most likely illegal). The whole Hassendal Area is safe except this complex. People apartments get broken into while they are away and valuable belongings are stolen. This is a persistent problem and management has not made any efforts to stop this or expressed any desire to help. No sympathy whatsoever.
The complex lacks proper security measures, and the Managing Agent/Owner shows no urgency in addressing the rising number of break-ins. When these concerns are raised, they are ignored completely. More urgency is placed on cigarette buds, laundry standing on grass and people's tied refuse bags at the back of their flats. Some of us sleep with our bedroom doors locked, afraid of more possible break-ins.
