Love the place

The place is beautiful and peaceful. HOWEVER I highly do not advice one to rent here unless you know what you are getting yourself into. 1. There is no prepaid electricity, look out for this as the agents will not mention it. The first few months you will get normal electricity bills (R800 - R1100), when you are deep into your lease expect an electricity bill that will be R3500 - R4000 (which you will not understand and will not get any help from the agent or landlord in disputing it). 2. Expect water outages that can last up to 5 days, I must emphasize this happens frequently, dig on the net or even your Eskom loadshedding app, you will find more information about other similar complaints. 3. Expect power outages, even when its not loadshedding (Still manageable though if you have a UPS or backup power). 4. Lastly if you choose to be a tenant, read through the lease, it always looks after the interests of the owner. Suggest the agent to add an exit clause, make sure you able to exit without struggling. Lastly Pretoria offers a lot of beautiful places that will be worth your money. You can get more value from other locations/properties for the same cost. a lot of places hardly have random water outages.
