However, they previously admitted that the bills are just based on "estimates."After comparing notes with several neighbors in the building, we realised the truth. They charge you more for water if you have a higher income on your payslip. Larger households of 5 people who earn less are paying far less for water than smaller households. They are looking at what you earn and rigging the "estimates" based on your salary. This is pure exploitation. Save your money and do not move here!

Large beautiful apartments, HORRIBLE BUILDING. There are electricity outages EVERY SINGLE MONTH which last anywhere from 2 days to 7 days. Most of the tenants here have UPS' and generators because of how frequently the power outages happen. And when there are outages, the units automatically have no water meaning you have to go to the ground floor to get water from the ONE tap in the entire property. They have randomly switched off my electricity in the middle of the month even though I paid rent. There is a service elevator that has literally never worked making moving big furniture items a nightmare. By the time you try to move out, the property company will try by all means to get more money out of you unless you fight them. Stay away from iThemba properties!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
