I stayed here for 3 years and I never had any problems except for the cockroaches!!! I hated them...if only they could fumigate it once in a while they could have long-term tenants.
It's a nice two bedroom flats at very quiet place with high security patrolling day and nice, the rent is affordable and it's good place for those who come from other province for their jobs. Their premises are cleaned every day.
Great place, with 24/7 security guards on board. The size of the rooms are pretty big for an affordable monthly rental fee. One get to save on rent I can give them that. However, the utilities on the other hand are a different story. They are so expensive, i.e. Who pays R500 for water and sewer in just one month? R500 electricity does not last long, a week is good enough. Both water and electricity is bought via this Service Provider for utilities called Protea Metering not directly from Municipality. Water and Electricity tokens are loaded automatically. There are no meters in the apartments, so you have no control over your electricity to be specific. How ridiculous, I would think twice before I even consider moving in to this place.
Affordable rent according to income. Only problem for me is that the rooms don't have built-in wardrobes. Spoke too soon. Had to edit... After 3 months of being a resident. The water here is a mess, the billing is terrible, it's a flat rate for everyone depending on the amount of occupants per apartment, Regardless of your actual usage. Water supply is not reliable. The apartment I live in is newly built but has so many faults. It's best you try an alternative if possible.
