Looking for a room to rent in this complex, can someone assist

There's cockroaches everywhere and there are always electricity and water outages

Lots of cockroaches in some of the blocks and they possibly migrate between apartments. Power cuts and water cuts occur out of nowhere. Clothing lines for hanging is outside the complex next to the front gate which is inconvenient. Delivery guys always get lost as the apartment numbering is all over the place and the blocks aren't in order. The pool is always a weird shade of green, not sure if that's normal. The noise will drive you nuts especially other tenants, apartment walls are painfully thin.

What was once a decent complex has truly **fallen to the dogs**, making this the **worst residential experience of my life**. --- ### **Management and Staff Woes** * The so-called property manager, **Chatal**, is either completely **unreachable** or actively **neglecting her duties**. There's a severe lack of professional oversight. * The guards, specifically **Emmanuel**, seem to believe they've been promoted to trustee, treating the complex as their **personal playground** and acting however they wish. The security is clearly an issue when the personnel are part of the problem. ### **Fees, Utilities, and Broken Infrastructure** * We pay a **monthly fee of R400**, yet the main **gate has been broken for over a year**. This is unacceptable for a security complex. * The **utilities are absolutely exorbitant**. Prospective tenants are told to budget for around R800, but expect closer to **R2000 for a single person**. * The agents' primary focus seems to be collecting money and **threatening tenants with inexplicable and unjustified fees and charges**. * Be warned about recurring **geyser problems**—they will never be properly fixed, leaving you with endless hassle. --- I would sooner move to Cosmo than spend another day here. If you're reading this, consider yourself warned—don't be a hero. Avoid Sunbird Estate Sundowner at all costs. You'll need all the luck in the world if you choose to ignore this review.

Would not recommend renting here unfortunately no maintenance at all, electricity cuts very often, sometimes both water and electricity and you could go days without them.
