My husband has stayed there for not even a month while I’m in Durban and a armed robbery took place apparently it’s not the first time when is it going to end should we look over our shoulders and think the security guards are gonna protect us? With our kids in the house how are we going to fix this ??? We need answers
Sunset Place has been amazing. The apartments are stylish, safe, and practical, with everything close—shopping, schools, even the airport. The estate is calm, clean, and welcoming, so coming home always feels good. It’s the ideal mix of ease and comfort.

I would strongly advise against moving here if you have pets or a family. Despite being marketed as "pet-friendly," the complex is managed by De Lucia, who utilize aggressive tactics including threats to remove animals to the SPCA and issuing fines for cats being on common property. The infrastructure is fundamentally flawed for feline owners; the recently installed boundary walls are only 1.05 meters high, making it physically impossible to contain a cat within a private yard. Furthermore, the management practices are highly contradictory. We received written permission from the agent to move in with our pets, yet four months later, we were issued "warnings" and new pet application forms under the claim that the animals were unauthorized. They frequently cite "nuisance" complaints for roaming, despite having no legal grounds to do so under South African law when an animal is simply existing on the grass. The disconnect between the "pet-friendly" marketing and the actual management of the complex creates a hostile environment for responsible pet owners.
The worst place you could ever want to move into the older people think they run the place there is no where that it says retirement village they permanently watching you to see if you make any mistakes they issue fines faster then you can count to 3 they say it’s pet friendly and then complain when your cat jumps over the wall they have just put up 1M high walls witch also allows absolutely no privacy between you and the neighbours also how is that supposed to keep your cats in your yard they have no place for children like they’ve advertised I honestly can’t wait to move out of this place and wouldn’t recommend anyone moving in to the complex
