Immaculate, lovely balcony and lounge area, no bar or restaurant but some nice ones across the street, staff were friendly and even contacted us to say we left a bottle of tequila in the fridge and very good value

The apartments are terrible for two reasons: 1. It is advertised as having air conditioning. This false. Whilst there is a unit in the kitchen area the rooms are NOT air conditioned. The rooms are like saunas and sleeping is impossible. 2. The ventitakuon system in the building makes a loud buzzing sound that you can hear through the apartment which drives you crazy. You therefore can’t sleep with the door open to maybe benefit from the one small air conditioner in the kitchen because you can’t sleep with the noice. Do not book these apartments.
The apartment we stayed in was very clean and had great views. The bedding was crisp and clean. Highly secured.
I had a really great stay at The Barracks. Perfectly suited for business travel — I especially loved having a proper desk setup, which made it easy to work comfortably. The location is extremely central, making it convenient to get around the city and access nearby restaurants and key spots. The apartment itself was super neat, modern, and well-maintained. Everything felt clean and thoughtfully put together. I also appreciated how well-stocked the unit was — the little touches like condiments and essentials really make a difference and add to the overall comfort. Safe and secure parking is another big plus, especially when travelling for work. Overall, a stylish, convenient, and practical stay — I would definitely recommend it, particularly for business travellers or anyone looking for a central, well-equipped base in Cape Town.
The place is located at the middle of cbd we arrived there 5 weeks ago attended by the security guard at the reception,we were wondered how possible to check in by security none the less, the professional security whom checked us in we didn't know that it's a Xhosa guy he is excellent, genuine, smart, highly intelligent he knows every thing he checked us in on the level that we felt like we are at home,he is kind but don't mess up.there was a case where we were having a conversation therefore someone came outside & speak to him he out that person on his place the person who was coming was asking a bathroom that security told the person that the building is a private owned there are no facilities for public servants not unless/otherwise it's a construction on site or the ternants the guy tried to approached the security strictly said don't approach this statement is a command it's not suggestion & there for please exit the property, all what I mean is it was our first time one security manage the entire appartment on everything I mean everything 2 hours later we had a problem with Wi-Fi the security came & assists Wi-Fi worked 100% my husband had a problem on the laptop I said to him he must try security we call him he came and assist laptop worked 100% all I can say is that security is all rounder he don't give you excuses instead he just rendered services he is too bright he loved his job in a way that the entire night he is active & observant when it comes to rules he is not playing & he quote the rule you have broken with its fine otherwise we undermine him from the beginning he proved us totally wrong but most important he knows his duties security duties merged with reception duties the Guy is excellent well done who ever appointed that guy to work there he has choice I'm not quite sure the surname is volkozela but his first initial is S according to the company tag
