the residence is okay but students are complaining about their stoves and students have been subjected to using two plate stoves for a long time. as compared to other varsity lodge residences this one is the lowest in ranks. otherwise other things are just okay nothing wow about this place.

The heights is a student accommodation that is behind TUT main campus. It's a good apartment and there's free wifi, cleaners and security. The rooms are soo small and you share a bathroom and kitchen.
Student accommodation. The set up is nice and comfortable (own room, big bathroom) , but noise rules/complaints aren't enforced so studying becomes difficult ;and wifi not working tends to be a persistent issue. Food shop on premises is convenient.
Heights is a student Accommodation with access to a TV hall (if I may call that) with a pool table as well. The place also gives students access to wifi, and offers single rooms for students. It has a great stuff, friendly people. It also has a laundry room with washing machines. It's a place you will enjoy saying.
If you just want to sleep then go here, otherwise the res is ridiculous, wifi delivery is awful sometimes the wifi will just go off without any warnings, when it is on its still slow, if you have any real problems unfortunately the only way it can be solved is if you strike, the cleaning staff is severely lacking, the noise is absurd and dont expect anyone to come and maintain order the best you can do is beg your housemates and hope they have mercy on you. I will give them credit the security is good and if something in ur room breaks they will fix it pretty quickly but other than that, honestly the place is disgustingly lacking, I stayed there in 2025 it was much better than what it was in 2026 I dont know if management changed or what, but 2026 was such an awful experience I literally moved out. I hope whoever owns that residence can see this and know that you are subjecting students to horrendous living conditions and it's just unfortunate black people we struggle to speak up against these things
