This building is a complete nightmare. I would never recommend Herringbone Apartments to anyone looking for peace of mind. The management team acts like bullies, and the environment is toxic. Adieu especially behaves as if he owns the place and can do whatever he wants, with no respect for tenants. Living here has been stressful and frustrating. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere
Absolutely terrible complaint handling and management communication. Ongoing resident issues get ignored for months, and tickets are closed without any feedback or resolution. I have repeatedly complained about chewed bubblegum and cigarette litter constantly being thrown onto my balcony from units above mine, and despite multiple reports over a long period of time, nothing has been properly resolved. The issue has actually become worse while management continues closing complaints without communicating with residents. It is extremely unhygienic having to constantly deal with used bubblegum with saliva on it being thrown into your living space. Very disappointing experience overall. Residents deserve better communication, proper follow-ups, and actual accountability instead of complaints being brushed aside and closed without action.
Wow, to say disappointed does not even explain it.. worst place ever. I understand every building has rules but here they treat us like children.. a security guard once knocked on my door saying the tv was too loud, mind you i was just watching a movie. They have a two burner stove, water is not drinkable, the walls are too thin, which makes it seem like you are making noise even if you are not. You can tell they used cheap materials. The good reviews are very hard to believe as someone who has stayed her for over a year. To show that a lot of people are unhappy and are leaving, they ask existing tenants to refer people to stay here and we will be paid for a referral..
Considerate living? Far from. Parties spilling from one unit to the next. Music blasting all hours of the day. And when you complain? The gaslighting is just remarkable. If you value your sleep and peace of mind dont be fooled by this place. They do an amazing job at selling what seems to be a dream apartment. Until you actually move in. Also good luck ever getting through to the manager who has an excuse for everything. And when she runs out of excuses she resorts to ignoring you. As for the building itself? Water is not drinkable unless you like the added literal chlorine. Flooring, walls and windows, you name it, it has an issue. If it’s not leaking, it’s breaking off. Your stove? A cheap two plate camping stove(you read that right) and finally THERE IS NO PARKING so prepare yourself for constant fines on top of your lovely stay.
