The apartments itself is lovely, but I would not consider living here if you want any quiet over your weekends or weekdays. The noise created by tenants and children is ridiculous and constant, you'll never get a break from it.

My wife and I have been residents of The Sara since November 2022 and have to say that the above review, which mentions the excessive noise made by residents and children, is grossly exaggerated. We are both retired and I have mobility issues which means we spend most of our time in our apartment, so are in a better position than the writer, who is not a resident, to judge the alleged noise nuisance. In fact, the general quietness of the complex during the week and weekends is one of its noticeable features. It’s true that children sometimes play in the safe confines of the communal area but in our experience, they are not unduly noisy. They laugh and occasionally call out to one another – it’s what children do, but they don’t stay outside for long and they are not a problem. The one drawback, for me especially, concerns the lift, which doesn’t operate during loadshedding and for about half an hour after power has ben restored. That’s why it gets only four stars.
