Urgent: Safety Concerns Regarding The Square Apartments I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your immediate attention a deeply troubling incident that occurred at Capetown,South Africa a few months ago, which has raised serious concerns about the safety and security of this establishment. I had booked a stay for my girlfriend, and her experience was nothing short of horrific. Upon her arrival, she was sent to a different building and then back to the original location, where she was unfortunately targeted by two men who used chloroform on her. In a terrifying turn of events, she managed to escape through an exit door while being locked in, only to be chased by one of her captors. Thankfully, she was ultimately rescued by a police constable nearby. This experience not only traumatized her but also highlighted the alarming presence of criminal activity in the area. I strongly urge you to consider the implications of allowing such a place to operate. It is imperative that we prioritize the safety of potential guests, particularly women, who may unknowingly put themselves at risk by visiting this location. I believe it is crucial for the community to be aware of these dangers, and I implore you to take appropriate action to have this place removed from any listings or maps to prevent further incidents. Thank you for your attention to this serious matter. I hope we can work together to ensure a safer environment for everyone.

Couple of sometimes working and sometimes walking couple. We rented 316 it was a seamless check in and a relaxing stay. Our walk to and from was chosen based on the least amount poverty run streets and took only one attempt in and out to discern nicer steady. I enjoyed the fully kitted kitchen the great wifi although we weren’t sure about channel availability. The fridge was a plus as well as the super deck to enjoy coffee on. Went to the pool once but it never got wArm enough for us to consider. Bed was heavenly after 12-15 km of walking around. No problems at all with the room although we do work through out our holidays always we could have done with a small desk.
I’m currently staying at the Square and have had a very positive experience so far. The building is very well maintained, and well located, and the gym and pool in the building are awesome perks. It has an around the clock security guard who is always happy to help with any questions you might have about the building or surrounding area, which is fun with many little coffee shops to enjoy. I would choose it again.
We rented 318 The Square Apartments. It was absolutely perfect. Seamless check in and very helpful building manager. Showed us exactly where to go and what to do. The apartment was beautifully clean, lovely linen, so many extra things considered like a hairdryer, extra towels, a washing machine clothes horse and heater for the lounge area especially as CT was very chilly!!!🥶 The bed was super comfortable and the whole apartment beautifully decorated. It has a lovely balcony although we didn’t get to use it as we were so busy enjoying seeing all the sites. Definitely recommend it.
The Square has various different appartments listed independently on airbnb by different owners. I have a lovely apartment there, I often stay in it myself and enjoy a night in the city and my guests give me 5-star rating everytime. Our security staff are friendly and helpful and security operates 24hrs. I see some negative reviews here on maps but they are not related to the building specifically, rather to individual listings, which can happen anywhere in the city. My guests always have a safe and wonderful time in our amazing city and their reviews, as well as my life here, are testimony to that.
