Arniston Village

This is a very nice complex and very clean, just one thing there is a lot of rules and regulations of what you can and can not do

Arniston Village Melkbos is a small "cottage", four story, multi blocked secure complex. Units: Single unit, One Bedroom Apartment, Two Bedroom Apartment and Two Bedroom Duplex Apartment. Dedicated Covered Parking and few Visitors Parking. There are no Lock-up Garages units. Fire hazard area; so no outdoor braais/ BBQ allowed. Pets are allowed with permission, and within reason, from the BC and unit owner. Does not have: swimming pool, gym, clubhouse, WiFi or Internet, No lifts - only stairs, No braai area, intercom connection to the gate. Does have: pay laundry facilities , DStv/ satellite connection point, electric perimeter fence, only one in-out access controlled vehicle and separate pedestrian gate. 5 - 10 minutes away from everything; beach, restaurants, shopping, MyCiti Bus, Melkbos Town Centre ...

I'm not a big fan of thatched roofs, it's a style choice I don't really understand for a block of residential flats. Other than that: I enjoy the layout of the building and the residents I met were all very welcoming and helpful. The building is beautifully maintained and the gardens, with little 'islands of serenity' seem lush and well looked after. It seems a good place to live, within walking distance to shops and restaurants, the Mycity bus stop, schools and the beach. And, it's in Melkbosstrand, currently my favourite place on earth.

Tranquil and quiet. Walking distance from shops and beach that is a great plus.
