February 2023. We made a booking. It was confirmed and money was deducted from our card. A DAY before our arival we were notified that the accommodation was no longer available as the owner wanted to use it and that all other units were fully booked. We were offered an immediate refund but it left an extremely bad impression. We were placed in a very stressful situation having to find alternative accommodation on short notice during a popular season. Be careful booking these apartments. Very unprofessional and unrealiable conduct.

Vibrant enclave of Bantry Bay. The Aurum, spirit filled creation.
Private residence is laughable, i’m not making videos with this place, 2026 year sure))
Visited the Penthouse suite, it has panoramic views of the bay and the city as well as Lions head from various areas. The finishes are all imported and top end quality as well as the appliances. The apartment has a private pool and jacuzzi on the massive balcony. A pristine modern interior open plan with views out, very spacious. However, some of the bedrooms are a bit small yet each with it's own elegant ensuite and built in cupboards.
I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. One of the strangest and most frustrating rules is the strict ban on filming with a video camera. This is either not clearly communicated in advance or you only find out about it once staff start warning you not to film. It creates a very uncomfortable atmosphere, as if you are constantly being monitored even though you are just a regular guest. In today’s world people often take videos to capture memories, share experiences with friends, or create travel content. Being told that you are not allowed to film anywhere in the hotel feels unreasonable and unnecessary. Instead of relaxing and enjoying the stay, you feel restricted and worried that you might break some rule without realizing it. Overall, this policy really ruined the experience for me. Hotels should focus on making guests feel welcome and comfortable, not imposing odd restrictions that make the stay feel tense and unpleasant. I would not choose this place again.
