Epic Luxury Apartments

Its nice and clean I loved the outside view the most,spacious great for family outing the apartment is beautiful and simple from the kitchen to the bedrooms. The water was always hot and wifi was fine at times and it did not work at times,great tv chanel one inside the main bedroom and one in the lounge.

My first stay at the epic was brilliant, i loved it. So much so that i recommended it and booked a second time for myself and family. The second trip was not worthy at all, firstly we arrived after 2pm which is the check in time (a very late checkin time aswell) on arrival, the bathroom had no towels, no toiletries, no shower gel. All the dishes were still in the dish washer, none in place, i could not connect to the wifi it kept disconnecting, there was a pool of blood in the freezer, there was an ironing board but no iron in any of our rooms, the room i had, had damaged taps and shower heads. To top it off, the first night of our stay we had no hot water at all. The next morning we called to have it fixed, the lady was very kind as well as the maintenance manager who helped us resolve the water issue. Unfortunately we had to wait about an hour and a half for the water to get warm which delayed our plans. We asked them to please ensure that the geyser be in working condition the next day because we had a function. And yet again ofcourse one of our rooms had a water issue the next day. The complex utilizes solar geysers with timers which do not always function as needed. The above caused major inconveniences and for that reason i will never return to the epic or insignia.

Enjoyed 2 nights and a day. Excellent Interior design. Always clean and well set. Good for business trips. Pricing per person sharing is cost effective. Secure and safe. Very close to shopping centers and restaurants. A good stay.

I am a TripAdvisor guide. When I fetch clients of TripAdvisor at your accomodation we have to park illegally in the road as the security do no allow us into the complex. It is embarrassing and bad for tourism to pick our international guests up in the road. I have identification and copies of the booked tour but it is not accepted by your security. We stayed at Apartment 7. The negatives: 1) Broken aircons. One aircon remote for the two bedrooms 2) Having to cater for an aircon repair person. Cleaning up after the repairs 3) Dirty drawers all over apartment and some shelves in bedrooms cupboards 4) Crockery not up to scratch 5) Only 2 of 4 pots had lids 6) Dirty cutlery and crockery, that we had to clean. 7) Dirty dining table that we had to clean 8) Unable to flush toilets during Sandton water cut, due to no access to toilet cisterns 9) Difficulty having dish bath as bucket was needed 10) Geyser broke 11) Internet wasn't working on the TV's. We used our phones to watch our streaming apps. 12) No cleaning services for less than 7 day stay 13) On checkin, water was trickling from freezer and apartment was cold, and we didn't get heat until the next day 14) Kitchen sink has a gap so water falls inside cupboards below, every time used. 15) The electricity meter woke us up at night, with a loud beeping noise when we finally were able to use 1 of the aircons after it was fixed. Switched aircon off to stop noise 16) Spent too much for this type of accommodation Positives: 1) Lovely interior decor and comfy beds 2) Easy communication with Host 3) R500 compensation for broke geyser
