Masingita Towers

We booked Masingita Towers for its prime location, attractive rooms, and close proximity to amenities, as we had an upcoming event in the Sandton area. Upon check-in, we were required to sign a rules and regulations form which clearly stated no parties and no decorations. I explicitly advised that we had an event and would need to get ready in our rooms—something that is entirely normal and expected at any hotel or serviced accommodation. The Good: • Excellent location • Beautifully designed room • Friendly and helpful service from the lady who assisted us during check-in, as well as the staff who serviced our unit The Bad: • The premises were dirty and frequented by questionable characters • Check-in was delayed by over an hour as the room was still being prepared • Only one access key was provided for an eight-sleeper unit, which was highly impractical, particularly as the lifts require a card to select floors The Ugly: The property is managed in a highly unprofessional manner. Our stay was abruptly and rudely interrupted by a woman (whose name I unfortunately did not get) who stormed into the penthouse we had booked and proceeded to enter every bedroom without consent. This was a serious invasion of privacy. We were in the process of getting ready in our rooms when she claimed this was against the rules—yet she was unable to produce or reference any such rule. In all my years of travel, this is the first time I have experienced such distasteful, aggressive, and intrusive behaviour from a host whose responsibility is to ensure guests feel safe, respected, and comfortable. The incident caused unnecessary stress and escalated into an extremely uncomfortable confrontation within our unit. Regrettably, I will not be returning to this property for any reason whatsoever.

Don’t book at this hotel. My friend was robbed of her belongings inside her hotel room. She checked in with her partner lastnight. They were on the ground floor. Later they went out and came back to their valuables being stolen, laptop, cellphone, play station, cloths and her partners passport. Tell me how do you get broken into in a bloody hotel????? I’m definitely sure it’s one of their stuff members that did this!!!!!!!! How did they know that specific room was booked and the tenants have stepped out?????? This hotel must be held liable cause there’s no way. I will never recommend this place to anyone. You are not safe in this hotel!!!!

The apartments are wonderful and staff are so friendly we stayed for a weekend and overall our stay was amazing rhe views are incredible and the rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are perfectly designed everything was perfect from the living room to the balcony would 100% stay again

Beautiful, Clean, and Easy Stay I’ve stayed in both the penthouse and a standard room at Masingita Towers and I highly recommend it. The place is very beautiful and clean. The rooms are well kept, and the whole building has a modern, comfortable feel. Staff are friendly and check-in was easy with no hassle. Whether you go for the penthouse or a standard room, it’s a solid choice if you want a comfortable stay in Sandton.
