Good security, clean, beautiful building and peaceful area to be, next to Gateway Mall

Very safe and secure, good parking, very clean and well kept. Quiet calm serene, lovely place to live in

Let's start with the Physical: Dampness and mold destroying almost everything in the cupboards. The elevators that are hardly ever working. During Load Shedding the basement parking level is black, regardless of the time of day, unable to see where your next step is without a light. Filthy walls due to mud never being washed off. Central waste area next to elevator that is permanently stinking and dirty. Then there's the Social: Let's begin with the old grinch of a, recently appointed, trustee who abuses his new found power by chasing kids indoors and not wanting any children to play in the communal areas, regardless of the time of day. He bullies security to carry out his instruction by threatening their job. Security approach kids to bully them to go inside or stop playing, without communicating to parents. This complex is no longer kid-friendly, since this new supervisor and trustee have been appointed. Health and well-being is not a priority, but pettiness is. Passively being converted into a very poorly maintained, "retirement village". Physical appearance is all that matters, but once you're in, you're stuck with issues nobody wants to take responsibility for or fix, like poor drainage and no air vents except for windows, thus resulting in dampness. No generators to assist with lighting and elevators during load shedding. A very poor investment to make.

I find Palm Gate to be convenient located. Within walking distance to Gateway Theater of Shopping. It has secure two level basement park with access control 24 hrs service cctv cameras throughout. There are braai areas, cloths drying areas. Relaxing areas, adults and kids pools. What's nice is that the apartments have decent space and full bathrooms with shower and bath tub.

A very safe and secured place that spacious apartments and a chilled atmosphere. I absolutely love it here. The pools are awesome! More especially at night when they light up with blue😍 Gateway is closeby, probably 5 if not 10 minutes away! So you have many options to choose from if you want to but takeaways or maybe have fun and entertainment. Be sure to always carry your access card at all times when you leave the premises because that place has strict rules! You can't come in with that card!
