Family friendly place to stay

Nice apartment block conveniently located in umhlanga. Very much peaceful and quiet as everyone follows the rules and minds their own business. Well maintained and overall a good place 👍

Noisiest complex I’ve stayed at, may it be the other tenants or them revving their cars late nights. Guards don’t know what they’re doing half the time, they don’t alert you of takealot/food delivers nor do they hold it on for you, goodluck receiving phone calls or messages as there’s no cell signal. Had to buy netting for our apartment as there’s a cockroach infestation aswell as a rat running around occasionally. Had to pay R300 to use the “goods” elevator because it disturbs the peace of the other tenants, defeats the purpose of calling it a goods elevator when you can’t use it half the time to load stuff in. Overall this place needs new rules and a redo as most of them are a joke.

I had the most unpleasant experience living here for a year. The apartment unit we stayed in had no cell service. Security would seldom call me if I had deliveries or hold deliveries for me in my absence. I paid so many courier penalty fees due to rescheduling and I was actually at home. The strict rules are only applicable to the few. There’s constantly screaming children during the day and loud music and car revving at night. 123Net is the only fibre provider and their latency is awful. I handed my keys back early and left the apartment in a better state than when it was given to me. The landlord and agent confirmed all was fine but I still haven’t gotten my deposit back - so careful about what you sign and what agency is involved. People are pretentious and unkind - so unfortunate because it’s a beautiful modern complex in a safe upmarket neighborhood.
