Lovely and safe place. Half of estates are with built with solar and cover for most part of load shedding. The roads between the estate are narrow abd that’s the only flip side. So if there is a maintenance vehicle, it’s inconvenient
This is actually nice: Imagine you haven’t opened the loadshedding app in forever, because you now have solar and your lights, tv, internet, everything just stays on automatically. In fact the only reason you realise it is loadshedding is because the fridge lights are off, because the fridge is not connected to the inverter
Having open space around the stairs makes it much easier for removal companies to maneuver furniture, reducing the risk of damage to both the furniture and the property. It's always a plus when there's ample space to work with, making the moving process smoother and less stressful for everyone involved!
I don't live here, but my sister does, and honestly, this place has its pros and cons. The units are STUNNINGLY beautiful and well designed and spacious. So why 3 stars, you might ask? 1. Security is VERY unhelpful, especially to your guests. I came on foot once and got stuck in the turnstiles, which are out of their line of sight, and they didn't properly explain how to use or mention that they're somewhat dysfunctional. It turns out my handbag was the issue, so they told me to leave it by the boom and get it on the other side. Basically, leaving it both out of my sight and reach. 2. There's nearly always a half an hour queue, if not longer, for driving visitors wanting to enter the estate. Also highly inconvenient. 3. They often face water shortage issues, granted it's not theirs, but rather the municipalities fault. However, with rentals costing in excess of 35k per month, you expect some sort of solution to a legitimate problem. My sister loves living here. You have access to all the waterfall facilities etc so I can see the upside to it all. But if my visitors had to wait half an hour just to get in, I'd personally never have any want to see me. So all-in-all, not a place I would personally stay if I could even afford that much. Rather buy your own house...but other side of waterfall, not gate 2.
