The place is ok for the rent being paid BUT the noise is this place is deafening, from kids running around and screaming in corridors until very late to tenants playing loud music until the wee hours of the morning. The building manager doesn't attend to tenant's complaints. The nicest thing about this place is affordable rent and rates and unlimited wifi. I wouldn't advise anyone to rent here.
Being a tenant in an Afhco building has been an extremely frustrating experience—the worst I’ve ever had. Living here feels restrictive, almost like being a prisoner. Visitors are only permitted entry if they carry an ID or driver’s license. Unlike other buildings where access codes can be used for convenience, Afhco doesn’t allow this. Even if someone is accompanying you, they won’t be let in without identification. If you have friends or family who might visit you unexpectedly, this is not the place for you. The environment is disorderly, with children running through the passages and causing constant noise, making it nearly impossible to work from home. Daily water shortages have become the norm, and when you report issues, there’s rarely any response. You have to follow up multiple times, only to be told someone will be sent—yet they never show up.
The noise in this flat is insane - music blasting till 4am. Even the street outside is quieter! No water, no updates nothing😫😩 I see you saying I must forward my details as if you going to reply my emails. I have sent an email to management head office as I saw that I am not getting any help from building manager, but still no reply. I have stayed in AFHCo building before and it was not proper but this one 🚽
Avoid Frank and Hirsch Apartments – Worst Experience! This is my second time renting with AFCHO, and this is by far the worst experience. I’ve only been here for a month, and it’s been a nightmare. We’ve had three power outages, each lasting more than three days. That’s unacceptable. My unit was broken into, and AFCHO refused to take any responsibility. They won’t investigate or provide any support, especially for the equipment that was stolen—just told me to insure my belongings. Feels like an inside job! The incident happened about 2 weeks and I'm still waiting for the door to be replaced as they said they would. If you value safety, reliability, and decent management, stay far away from this place.
