Tali's Place Apartments

Moved in a few months ago, place is clean I'll give them that but the service is horrific and slow care taker is no where to be found I was sick and ask my child to go down and get my mother who had an ID and they refused for her to come up and see me. Not by a long shot am I renewing my lease.

I am a current tenant at Talis place and i am extremely disappointed at the service. When we first arrived at the building everything was perfect except for the dstv connection. We stayed for the whole month reporting this issue with nothing being done. Then came the water problem this year with no warning or what so ever. we had no running water for 7 days two weeks in a row and one of the tenants called the office to complain only to be told that they know the moving out procedure if they are no longer happy. The next week was terrible with no wifi as promised and to top that off we have only one lift working in a 17 floor building and nothing is being done to fix these problems. The most shocking service i v ever recieved was from Janine telling me to move out of their building because its clear that i can no longer afford their rentals just because my payment had not reflected on their system as yet. I work at a call centre and i know how you conduct yourself with customers and im so repulsed at everything that s going on lately. If nothing is done that building will soon be empty cause a lot of tenants have started to vacate the premises.

Went from an efficiently managed to a poorly managed block of flats. Constant water supply issues, lifts are poorly maintained, on-site building manager lacks communication and poorly maintained in general.

I am a tenant in Talis place and have a complaint about smokers in the building. I tried to report it and asked for help but instead the manager failed to help me.My neighbor smokes weed 24/7 and it is a very strong smell that one can't sleep or stay in peace in their own units.i understand we have the rights but we need to respect other people's beliefs or health. Please help me with this situation it is truly affecting me in many ways.

Dear City Property / Building Management, I am a current tenant at Tails Place and would like to raise a few serious concerns: 1.Lack of Communication: The building managers have shown zero communication regarding ongoing issues in the building. 2.Lift Out of Order: One of the lifts has not been working for over a month. When I called the office, I was told there was no knowledge of this issue. 3.Water Outage: We have now been without water for three days, forcing tenants to fetch water in buckets from reception. With only two lifts operational, this has caused major inconvenience for everyone in the building. I have contacted City Property and was told “we are working on it,” but after several days, there has been no visible progress. How long can it possibly take to replace a pump? Please treat this matter as urgent and provide an update on when the water supply and lifts will be fully restored. Tenants deserve proper communication and timely maintenance.
