The Leo Apartments - Marshalltown

I stayed at the Leo for just over two years, and I can confidently say it was one of the best living experiences I’ve had. The place is exceptionally clean and well-maintained throughout. The reception area is beautiful, giving a great first impression, and the security and staff are always friendly, professional, and welcoming. Security is tight and reliable, with secure parking that gives you peace of mind. The braai area is spacious and well-designed, perfect for hosting friends or small gatherings — it’s both functional and aesthetically pleasing. I also really appreciated the gym and tuck shop on-site, which made daily life incredibly convenient. Whenever there were maintenance issues, the team responded quickly and efficiently, and the on-site management was always available and ready to assist. Overall, it’s a place that truly feels like home...Safe, clean, and community-oriented. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality accommodation in areas around Maboneng and Marshalltown

The Leo apartment is a lovely place with good amenities and is very convenient for transport The power outage is out of their control as it is a city power issue and not a Leo issue However they do help tenants in such cases with back up fridges for us to store food and the common areas are backed up so you can still work from home undisturbed

It's been a pleasure moving into the Leo. From the viewings to the quick response on my application. The ladies at the office have made everything so easy for me, they even assisted me on move in day. I am enjoying how peaceful and clean the building is.

I lived at this property for two years, and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Throughout my time there, I dealt with ongoing maintenance issues and cockroach infestations that were never properly resolved. Requests were either ignored, delayed, or handled in a way that didn’t actually fix the problem. No tenant should have to live in those conditions, especially while consistently paying rent on time. Speaking of rent — I paid my full rent on time every single month for two years. I upheld my end of the lease without fail. However, when it came time to return my security deposit, they deducted a portion of it without providing any clear explanation or itemized breakdown showing how they calculated the amount. Now, after multiple calls and texts asking for clarification about my own money, they are simply ignoring me. The lack of professionalism and accountability is frustrating and unacceptable. If you’re considering renting here, be cautious. My experience was poor communication, unresolved issues, and difficulty getting straightforward answers when it mattered most

Great Place. The service both security and maintenance is top tier. I was shocked when the maintenance guys came to assist me at 11 Pm, yes at night. Also Admin guys are always there when sending an email requesting something/ or knocking at their door they would respond and even provide you with extra information. This is a home away from Home.
